SR 2026 – Adult Lunch & Learn: Poverty Point World Heritage Site

June 5 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Join us for a ranger-guided discussion of the ongoing work and current understandings of Poverty Point World Heritage Site. This presentation takes us back over 3,000 years ago when indigenous peoples created the largest mounds and earthworks in North America. The ancient site was the center for exchange, ceremony, and community in North America between 1700 and 1100 BCE. Please give us a call to RSVP so we can get an accurate lunch count.
