With school starting soon we encourage you to bring your child to the library for pleasure reading. We have many books with AR points and if your child attends a school that is involved with the Book Adventure we can help with that also.

Find your adventure in a book.

The staff at Franklin Parish Library would like to thank all parents, grandparents and babysitters for taking the time to bring their child to our Summer Reading Program. We finished the year with Hampstead Stage Company bringing Pinocchio to life. The performers made you feel as if you were a part of the story.
Children in Franklin Parish read a total of 3338 books this summer. A child who reads during the summer will advance intellectually more than a child who does not read.
Once again thanks to all who have made our programs this summer a success.
